Fighting this

My tears lie silent
My voice becomes weak
Don't know what to do
But it's not the pain I seek
My body is numb
My eyes become tired
If school was a job
I know I'd be fired
All I do is smile and wave
I wish for no one to see my pain
The stuff I feel on the inside
Will be for my enemies on the outside to gain
I don't care if I feel depressed
I already feel alone
I'm fighting for happiness with no one else
I'm fighting this on my own

The author's comments:
I felt pain and felt all these emotions that seemed like I could tell no one. The only way I could express them was in this poem. So I wrote a poem to describe all the feelings I felt and finally felt better.
