Favorite Quote:
"You only have to do two things in life. You have to live, and you have to live until you die. You make up the rest."

My heart twists and turns
heaves and hoes
spins and squeezes
and I can't calm it
Only you could help me
Only you made my heart understandable.
But where have you gone oh dear friend?
I have lost you
So now I seek you,
With hands outstretched
Waiting for your fingers to touch mine,
And pull me in your warm embrace,
Where I will be home, at last.

The author's comments:
My best friend inspired me to write this poem after they sorta left my life. I was hoping it would explain how lost I was without them there after having them for 10 years.
