A Long Walk
A Long Walk

 It took a while.
 A few strikes,
 A little black
 A little blue.
 For so long your
 eyes had been closed.
 Blinded by the only
 voice that you hear.
 The whispers in your ear.
 The hitting,
 It's getting you down.
 Down Deeper.
 Well, your brain is flying,
 you can't stop crying.
 So, wake up.
 Come back to reality.
Yes, it's a long walk alone,
 but you're not. So,
Wipe your tears with your sleeve,
 It's okay to leave.
