Let Me Be

I am a mess.
Indescribable as can be.
I’ve hurt another innocent heart.
I have no understanding of what I have just done.
Whether it is right or wrong, I hope I learn a lesson from this.
I’ve had so many chances to learn something,
Yet I completely ignore them.
This time I will take every advantage to not repeat history.
I am thankful as can be that I have finally gone back to reality
& that I’ve been hit with everything I could’ve been told so long ago.
It’s about time, I take the risk to start up anew.
