Three Cold Month

Tight, keep wrapped in your sheets,
cold winter night will arrive as you sleep.

Keep with you thoughts of summers now past,
we pull into harbor a ship, with ripped sail and broken mast.

Three season we've had of hardship and toil,
but one is for rest with sleeping trees and frozen soil.

Winter approaches now in a relaxed saunter,
we finally have time to separate oil from water.
