"To be great is to be misunderstood"
-Ralph Waldo Emerson

Let your soul cast
Up into the sky
Departure so fast
We all wonder why

Why did you go?
Where are you now?
We miss you so
Why make your final bow?

Your life wasn't long
But you really lived
Now there's only sad song
Sorrow your death gives

We'll miss you everyday
For now you're gone
Your body will decay
But your memory goes on

This poem is for my friend Bryar who died January 5th 2011. She was taken on her 18th birthday, and it's been pretty hard for me, but writing's helped a lot. Feedback please? I know it's probably not the greatest, I mean I know the rhythm needs work, and my wording probably needs work. But any suggestions on how to make it better? That would be awesome <3 Thank you!

This is really good, I agree that the rhythm needs some work.
