Forward We Move
Slowly swallowing down what’s left of my life’s reality,
Facing the fact that I must protect and guard my morality,
Heartache and disappointment flips this switch on,
Just like the start of morning, there’s always the dawn,
Slightly smiling as the sun rises above the trees,
Forgetting the feelings as they vanish in the breeze,
Chirping and singing the black bird performs for me,
Unconditionally of the color I still love the beauty,
Back to back we now go our separate ways,
Heartache and disappointment we no longer face these days.
