crab apple tree
Wet leaves from a crab apple tree
Silky like satin
Deep green
The type of green that is only seen
In the country side of California
Fresh water from the sky
Slip off the leaves of the crab apple tree
Into a puddle followed by
Small to large to nothing ripples
In those ripples of the puddle
Is the reflection of the crab apple tree
Bright- deep red in circular shape
Tiny red apples that would trick a blind man
So small that you would think berries
Funny because I thought that too
But on contraire
They are ripe red tiny crab apples
