look at a rose

what do you see

you might see a beautifull flower

smell a rose

what scent do u pick up

it might be something wonderful

touch a rose what do you feel

you could feel silky pedals

well i see it different

when i see a rose

its another flower trying to survive

if i smell it

i smell fear

it knows its no staying alive

knowing its dieing but still wont give up

when i touch it

i feel thorns

its trying to protect itself

protecting itself from people picking at it

so if you see a rose

its not much different from me
