Time passes slowly.
eagerness has taken over everyone's faces.
I can hear the clack ticking,
over the slow and steady breathing of my litle sister,
fast asleep next to me.

It seems like we've been here for days,
when its only been a few hours.

Anytime now, someone will run through
the big black swinging doors
with the good news.

"It's a boy! It's a boy!"
The magical words envelop me
as I repet them in my head.

Seconds later,
I'm holding my baby brother, Nehemiah, in my arms.
I cry the first of mant tears,
as the dark eyes of this miracle,
stare into mine.

And once again,
time passes slowly.
