Hope by flying
I once had a dream where I was flying
where no one would ever think of lying
where fathers truly cared for there children
not the tar that slowly left them dying
I dreamt of a place where life was kind
where worry was not always on moms mind
where happiness could result in crying
in this dream no one was ever confined
Here my sister and I got along fine
and my brother was free from crimes black vine
this place was happiness truly defined
and we all held a big smile of benign
this dream like all others came to an end
but it left me hope that nothing could bend
I now knew that happiness could be mine
as long as I had hope I would contend
