Flowers for Mary

March 31, 2008
By Jaymee Cole, Morris, IL

With the tears streaming,
Down my face,
Sun-colored flowers,
On her grave I place.

My memories,
Time cannot erase,
Of my loving grandma,
Now in a higher place.

As I stand,
And stare into space,
I pray that those flowers,
Bring joy to that grieving place.
