to the sky to the sky to the sky
a punch at its bass
a pa rum
pumpumpum
and it shiversssss like a snare to the top
where someone may hear
or someone may not
meanwhile the little drummers
wait. . . .
for a count
or
set
list
so that they may play accordingly.
. . . .and then man discovered jazz.
