Palm Fronds

March 30, 2008

Palm fronds whispering in the breeze,
A ripened sun shimmering at me,
The turquoise waters lapping at the shore,
With flashy fish harboring in the sea.

The ivory sand reaching to my toes,
And the rippling water splashing welcome,
I gaze at the glowing rays of sun,
While hearing the beat of a tropical drum.

I wade into the water’s edge,
The sparkling scales of a minnow entice,
Also the gleaming sheen of the sunset,
This is identified paradise.
