Lemonade stands
Touching hands,
Long bike rides
And changing tides

The miles of sand
Days go unplanned,
Dirty cleats
And bare feet

Barbecue and fireworks
Are among the season's perks,
Lazy days go on and on
And soon enough, another dawns

The blistering weather
Draws us closer together,
Memories shared with friends
None of this could possibly end

Shining sun
And endless fun,
Rafts and beachballs
Life is a free-for-all

Strong waves of the ocean
Will cause a commotion,
A beautiful sun sets
The dark casts our silhouettes

Warm nights die down
As our smiles turn to frowns,
We've reached the end of summer
Fall is near and it's such a bummer.
