Separate

Stereotype is what separates us.
Black is black.
White is white.
Separate. One is superior.

Our skin color separates us,
But truly it binds us.
We are one.

Hatred is running free.
Cries are heard.
Harm is done.
Separating us.

You are different. Unique.
The pain is fire, constently burning.
Killing us like being murdered.
Sorrow, washing you away.

Stereotype restricts us.
It’s our differences that separate us,
But differences make the world one.
