A horse race
A beer chug
A skirt chase
In the epilogue of us
Will they trace me
Will they care
Will they see me
After forever and a thousand deaths
The light is gone
And forgotten
Will they turn it back on
A life filled with careful hatred
What’s to admire
What’s to remember
About a graceful liar
Tumbling turning twisting screaming
Never ever always no
Why am I here
Why can’t I know
Inconsistent little human
For the best perhaps
No one recalls
Her life collapse
