Twisted Perception

Many twirls and swirls of gray

Jagged tiny bits of strawberry
Colors that you’d see in May
Stirred with butter, melted merry
Worked with cream and mellow
Floral essence struck with yellow

Organized chaos is key
Row upon row
No matter how the pattern may be
There’s no stopping – only go.
Sharpened edges, rounded bumps
forming 3-D lumps.

Light and fluffy,
moist and cool
sprig of mint
Among the wool
of newborn lambs
Rich milky valleys
Peaked by mountains
fresh mashed fibers.

Push your nose up to the page
Look way beyond and through to see
Back slowly away and let it fade
A new revealed side of me
A blur of objects as you fell
Blend the colors, mix them well

Squares of swirls lined straight
Mind merges and mashes
Pictures pop in place
Mixed masses of motion
Random revolutions
People perceive - different perceptions.
