Frozen Warmth

March 6, 2008
By Nora wehrle, Anoka, MN

Kiss my frozen lips
Until yours become blue as well
The snow flakes fall around us
The cold clasps our bodies
Encircling time
For eternity
Until death comes onto us
And more than our faces are pale
Until we slip off into a warm place
Where snow shall not tread
Where love will never cease
