The sun fades from the sky
takes the light from my eyes
and blinds me like the rest of society
how could they all be so dumb
to turn and to run
from what amounts to reality
our planet, it's dying
the starving, they're crying
yet all you do is stare at your phone
voices aren't heard, it's all just absurd
and you people wonder why everything crumbles?
I'm not supposed to judge
but I can't help holding a grudge
at how stupid people can be
so I say my goodbyes
though I'm filled with despise
