Their Daughter Knew Better
She seen the pictures, the laughter, the smiles
They would be together forever, they'd walk for miles
They were perfect together, never argued or fought
They'd be one forever, at least that's what they thought
But their daughter knew better, she seen them fight
She couldn't get the tears out of her sight
The thought of the day makes her break down in tears
So she puts on a fake smile in front of her peers
Its best that it happened, they're better off that way
No matter how happy, she'll break down on that day
But their daughter, she knew things would end
But she's the most hurt, with a heart that can't mend
They weren't meant to be, their hearts weren't the same
Things were perfectly fine until that day finally came
But their daughter had no choice, and now can barely see
Through the tears, its hard to believe their daughter is me
