Just A Small Something
I'm a farmers daughter that’s been through he**,
Through the fights and tears it's easy to tell.
I've seen some crazy things some crazy lies,
I’m barely held together after all the tries.
My house is no where’s near the best,
That’s part the reason I feel so less.
As I move on in life and never look back,
I can see the hard times right on my track.
I love my friends they are a bless,
On the other hand my family’s a mess.
With a trucker, nurse, and a mower,
A landscaper, banker, and a tower.
I make time fly with some paper and pen,
What else is there to do in the Town of Glen.
When the pager goes off I’m out the door,
To go fight fires and so much more.
When you look at me what do you see,
A quiet girl what else could I be.
But now it’s time for me to go,
There’s nothing more for me to show.
So have a fun life and don’t miss a beat,
You’ll have opportunities crawling at your feet.
