Sometimes the imperfection in yourself or someone you love is worth it.
Like when your boyfriend messes up, and he does something amazing to apologize.
Or how he keeps forgetting the money to buy your tickets for the school dance, so he tells fifteen mutual friends to bring money the next day in case he forgets again.
Maybe he’s too shy to talk to you, let alone look at you, so he tries to walk by without so much as a glance in your direction but you can see him looking at you out of the corners of his eyes with this big, goony smile on his face.
He didn’t send you a rose on Valentines Day, but he sends you a smile every day that makes you melt.
His sweatshirt clashes horribly with his hair, but it’s so cute.
And maybe he’ll ask me, I mean you, out on your sixteenth birthday because he knew that you weren’t allowed to date until you were sixteen. But he didn’t care how long he’d have to wait.
