Good morning little seed,
I’m planting you today.
I will provide your every need,
And watch you grow and play.
And though there may be hard times
Things will end up right.
We can laugh the day away,
And make up silly rhymes.
I know you will be beautiful.
And it might sound weird to say,
But in these times we’ve grown so close
I just hope you’ll be ok.
To you it’s been forever,
But to me it’s still the start.
Watching you grow was my dream,
And to see you now as a piece of art.
I know it’s for the best,
And I know you have potential,
But to see you leave the nest
Is the beginning to the rest…
