Favorite Quote:
We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.

And here it comes, a strange condition;
it tires my heart and ignites my vision,
I see orphans, widows and too much pain,
Beggars and addicts and those betrayed,

I see the those who watch their children die,
And it's not a tooth for a tooth, and eye for an eye,
For I see the greed and hatred engrained in men,
I see lives being wasted in rotting drug dens,

And I just sit here, priviliged and healthy,
Surrounded by happiness and those who are wealthy,
And I find myself weeping for those who are lost,
But I know that I myself cannot bear the cost,

I am insignificant in this cruel and mad world,
For nobody will listen to a mere teenage girl,
I want to change everything, make it all good,
but I fear that's more than anyone could.

For I have no voice to have the world hear me,
I cannot save them, to ensure they're all free,
So I'm trapped in my room, to wonder as I sit,
What the world could be like, if I were to change it.
