Spread your arms
Embrace the night
Feel the stars against your skin
As the mortals rest
Dance among the moon beams
As the eternals awake
Shed your vulnrability
and sing
The moon smiles upon her children
And the star-dancer weaves
to the song of the cicadas
As her children sing
the moon weeps
for she knows
when the sun rises
The beauty of the night must fade
