Captured
Brother, sister, cousin—smiling
In a flash, forever still.
Nameless stranger—simply passing
Captured, but against his will.
I wonder what’s become of him,
His crooked nose and messy, auburn hair.
Does he still wear that pale blue, pin-striped shirt?
Does he still walk with that self-centered air?
I wonder if he’s found his one true love,
Or if he’s now renowned among all men.
Will he reach his dreams and aspirations?
Will we ever come to meet again?
Brother, sister, cousin—smiling
In a flash, forever still.
Nameless stranger—simply passing
Captured, but against his will.
