Without a friend
Nothing seems right anymore
Now that she is gone
I’m alone in the world
My heart is sore
She told me she was alright
Just go home and sleep tonight
And in the morning she will still be there
That I had nothing to fear
So off I went
With my head bent
I went back the next day
To see what she had to say
I went to the sign in desk
But instead of going to her room
I was greeted by the doctor
I asked what was wrong
She was strong
But her cancer came back
Said Dr. Mac
She died last night
I couldn’t breath
I was sure he was lying
She was alright
I ran to her room
Just to find it empty
That was two weeks ago
Now the world seems so much worse
Reality starts to sink in
It’s a terrible curse
To live in a world with out a best friend
