Eventually

At first I was scared.
I was scared to want,
to want more than I want now.
I'm scared to give and I'm scared to get.
I'm afraid of getting lost in the present just to eventually blend into the past.
But I need to let it all go.
If I ever want, I need to just give in.
We often fear the unknown but now,
now I am going to look it in the eye and challenge it,
and tell it I am waiting and I am ready
and I am going to accomplish this and be happy.
