A Bird

Oh, how wonderful,
To be a bird!
It would be grand, you know
Sure, it sounds absurd...

But to be endlessly free,
Fly high and low
You could go wherever you please
And no one would ever know

I would soar through the clouds,
Feel the wind in my feathers
Live how I pleased
Forever and evers

Yes, it'd be beautiful
But to wish of such would be unheard
