Just a Stride

Being a vegan was easy
I didn't have to try
I wanted to help save animals' lives
So both of us could thrive
It was difficult at first
Then I no longer had that thirst
Now I am leaner
Less meaner
And more greener
To our Mother Earth
Has given birth
To a new way of life
So do not think twice
To try our way
And I may see the day
When this record stride is just a normal stride
