Feelings of Loneliness

On the inside I feel empty
Unfulfilled and unloved
My heart beats and each pulse
Full of pain
It bangs against my chest
And it hurts
A stinging pain, it bleeds
It’s consuming all of my emotions
Until nothing is there
In the empty space I hear my heart
*Thump, Thump*
I’m an empty shell of my old self
No longer me
Just a body walking with no soul
But
This new feeling rises suddenly
Within my heart
Within my mind
Within my soul
Hope
