My Stupid Feelings

July 6, 2011
Your eyes are like the dark pines on a Christmas tree.
Your hair is always perfect like a new penny.
Your hands are molded to fit mine perfectly like two puzzle pieces are formed to connect together.
When you hug me, I feel like a baby protected by Spiderman.
When you smile at me my heart turns into a butterfly with wing spasms.
When you left me, I felt like an elephant had stepped on my head.

This was creative and really nice. I especially liked, "When you left me, I felt like an elephant stepped on my head." (I don't know if that was exactly the wording; the comment box is blocking that line.) This wasn't too serious, but I liked it.

I really liked that you compared their hair to something round (a penny) and their eyes to something sharp and straight (pine needles). That's pretty cool. Actually, I liked the whole thing (esp Spiderman haha) except the puzzle piece simile felt kind of cliche. Good work!
