I thought that a real father
was suppose to be right there
to pick you up when you fall
not star in your nightmares

I thought that a real faher
was to live your life with you
not desert you when you need him most, kindness should behis virtue

I thought that the best father
was suppose to be your own
but i could have died yesterday
you would have never known

When i was a little girl
I hadn't had a clue
that the monster in my closet
had always been you.
