Thunder Sky
So it has been known
Freedom inside the boundless sky
Thrown down from heaven
And I drift about my way.
I want to settle this debt
And rise amongst these dark clouds
I could watch the world quietly
From thunder’s powerful shroud
I can hear it rolling
The sounds are magnificent and deep
Thought is not mine to borrow
So I will drop to an empty sleep
The lightning ended my dream
And banished me once more
But with emotion inside the thunder’s voice,
I will fall to wonder.
