Lost at Sea

I want to be lost at sea.
Where the gentle water can take
Over my broken soul, and cleanse
Me into someone new and pure.
I wouldn’t want anyone to find me.
Leave me be if I’m ever lost at sea,
Because that’s what I need-
I need to be free.
I give permission to the waves,
To carry me as far as they can
Into a new beginning,
Where I’ll be lost at sea,
And ultimately set free.
