Mom,
She's the one who cares,
the one who gave you life,
and is always aware
of your detailed life
knowing what you need
and helping you succeed
to meet your goals
that are high above
just believe
she is the one you need
for advice
for love

always remember her
for everything that she did
to me, she's my lifesaver
since i was a kid
she was never near
across the ocean
on the opposite side of the earth
is where she is
i wish for her to be near
when tears arrive
filling my eyes
i look and see no one there
but i feel her
she is no where to be seen because
she is in me

on weekends
is when she calls
i don't want to talk
instead I'd rather listen
because hearing her voice
i know what to do
as if her voice
was my key
to every question i had

seeing her in the summer
i see her
through the whole crowd
oh, i see her
with a big smile on her face
i run straight to her
willing her to catch me
into her skinny arms

but soon the day comes
where it's the end of summer
i have to leave her
tears are coming
but she says "my brave daughter ,
take care of your brother
be strong
and hold in your tears."
