The shining stars
Twinkling in the heavens
Reach out?
It slips from your grasp
Too surreal
Too beautiful even really exist
Same as my life
My dream one that is
Nothing more
Its like a shimmering pond
The more calm it looks
The more it will ripple once a singe pebble has been thrown in
The more the change affects
Tears down
Beats down
Until all is lost
Nothing more
A dream world that’s been broken
Yet why does it feel real?
Why doesn’t the pain heal?
Why am I left standing in the dust; left behind; alone
Nothing more
