The Man with The Truth
Once a man told a tale
About beasts who rained down like hail
Piercing the earth like swords
They ruled the lands like lords
Taking what was not theirs
Cutting and destroying anything on ground but no one cares
More and more of these monsters came
And they searched for more to set aflame
Waging battles upon themselves just to gain power over their world
I asked if these slimy creatures were still alive
And the man said they survived
He told me to look out the door
I obeyed and saw a war
And there, the man with the tale told the truth
Outside was the proof of what became our youth
We grew into something horrible
