Responsibilty

Have you ever felt at loss for words
Or beaten and broken like a crippled bird
Is it so hard to ask
This world for a simple task
To be what I wanna be
To kiss or hug a freaking tree
Back off and let me live my life
Even if I decide to end it with a knife
Let me make my own mistakes
Let me get what I cant take
Maybe then I will have seen
This world as it is and not what it seems
Is that so hard to ask for
To be friends with a common whore
Or be shot dead on the floor
I'm 16 and growing older
Let me carry the weigh of that boulder
Its my choice and my choice alone
Let me do this so I can say,”found a voice of my own.
