I shall not tremble with danger in sight.

For the Lord is my refuge, my savior, my light.

I will strive with the noble to make thy heart sing.

For apart from you, I have no good thing.

All other idols who don’t know the way.

Will tempt me, and taunt me, and lead me astray.

But I will not offer up libations of blood or any kind.

But take thy name upon my lips.

Lord, of my portion to suffice, I need only thee.

For all that I own, thou gavest to me.

The paths I must walk for thee, are paved with joy my own.

And oh, what a delightful inheritance, for me, thou hast sewn.
