Somethings Never Change

The sun will always rise
I will always be hurt by lies
While most are in bed counting sheep
I will be crying myself to sleep
Babies will always love their mama
I will have to face hallways filled with drama
Life was simple and easy as a child
Now i hide behind fake laughs and smiles
Life can be full of surprises and twists
There are multiple things I will never miss
It doesn’t matter what words or actions are exchanged
Something’s never change
