You were taken
My heart is breakin’
Mom, we’ll meet again

It really hurt
When I saw your mound of dirt
Mom, we’ll meet again

When I look at your pictures
I see my sisters
Mom, we’ll meet again

Dad re-married
Your love was carried
Through her, we’ll met again

At times I miss you
I want to kiss you
Mom, we’ll meet again

I will live my life
Following your strife
Mom, we’ll meet again

One day I’ll see you
And really meet you
Mom, I’ll hold your hand

This is a poem that I composed about my birth-mother, who passed away from a disease when I was young.
