The Caribbean Sea
Colors of
Lime, kiwi, and plum
Mixed up.
A big fruit salad.
The burning sun
Like an over sized lemon floating,
Replacing the sun orbiting the planets in space.
It beats down on the waves as they crash
Up and against the shore.
The white foam
Airy and the color of a pile of shredded coconut
Fresh and ready to be gobbled up
Frozen for a moment in time
Like a stray blueberry
That has just fallen from the kitchen counter
Waiting on the floor for someone to pick it up.
