Determination
The athlete tried her best but was it enough?
Her goal was to win and keep on winning.
Sadly she could on think of one thing.
Her frustration was becoming too rough,
It was taking over her, but she is tough.
In her toes she was losing the feeling,
All she thought of was sitting and relaxing.
Her hands felt like they were restrained in cuffs,
But this wasn’t causing her to lose hope.
Everyone was rooting for her to win.
In order to win she must go faster,
If she doesn’t win others will help cope.
After her race she throws up in a bin,
Maybe next time she’ll come home with a win.
