Light and Dark

O loss is like a dark, wilted rose,
That's lost all its life in June.
O loss is like a shifting day,
that's becoming night in May.

As far as I go, I always see,
a world full of misery.
No matter where you look you’ll see,
that not everything is what you expect it to be.

Loss is like the seas of salt,
That taunt you li' an impenetrable cult.
You can't take a drink, even though you thirst,
For the first refreshment of the time.

O loss is like the sun,
where the rocks of strength give in,
O loss is where the grains of life shall run,
away from the people' sins.

Loss moves on like the hands of time,
That will never cease in a rhyme.
They always move like a chime,
That is suspended in time like a mime.

Though loss is hard for us to take,
We must be strong for our own sake.
All things will work out in the end,
Never lose hope, stand straight, don’t bend.
