Because the first time I saw you, I could have sworn it was fate.
We met a first, a second, and we met a third time.

Because you make me realize the small things in life, that could vanish forever. Things come and go, but as you said, “Life goes on.”

Because you make my heart skip beats making it harder to breath.

Because the sound of your voice makes me feel at peace.
It’s not too rough and it’s not too soft.

Because that smile of yours symbolizes the strength and the protection of our love.
No one else can replace you.

Because you accept my stubborn and up swinging moods.
You know just what to say and what to do.

Because your mind runs wild like a child, but yet you’re firm like a man.

Because your words are spoken with the truth, but the truth.
Like you always say, “A relationship is always based on trust and honesty.” Being faithful is the key.

Because the strong scent of your cologne makes me not want to leave your side. Can’t we just lay here forever?

Because your heart is as big as the universe.
There is no room for hate, but forgiveness.
You know we both can’t stay mad at each other for long.

Because when we’d walk on the beach, you’d give me a piggy back ride even though God created us with two legs.

Because your hugs and kisses take me back to the first time we had our first.
It seemed like time stopped for us.

Because the first time you asked me out on our first date, butterflies twirled in my belly.
My cheeks turned redder than the red Hollister shirt you wore.

Because you’d wait one in the morning for my phone calls.
Your grumpy and sleepy mood wouldn’t stop you from telling me you missed me.

Because you tell me I am the most beautiful girl, when in doubt I do not feel that way.

Because your cheesy pick up lines,
your laugh, your kind words,
and your presence makes me miss you most.

Because you always have the right words to insure me our love is still strong and lively by saying,
“I love you.”
