Drawing the Seasons

January 12, 2008
By Christine Stefanik, Coventry, RI

Dredging through the
Depths of snow,
Distinct chills
Drop with temperature. Winter
Departs, and with the end of its
Days;
Daisies,
Dandelions, and
Daffodils, once lying
Dormant, wake and come alive with Spring.
Delectable aromas of
Delicious dogs and burgers
Drown the air in the
Dusk of Summer.
Drops of rain
Drench the
Dirt left parched
During dry heat.
Drifting leaves
Dive towards grounds of Autumn.
