Dear Diary

Dear diary

You may not understand,
Why I do what I do
But you never criticized,
You just helped me through.

My falling tears
Your listening ears
A friend just for me.

Without having to mutter a sound
I feel all that you try to teach me.
Where would I be without you?
You are my secret companion
My true friend.

Dear Diary,
Please remember I’ll never forget
All you have done for me.
Remember that I never did
Nor ever will.
