April ninth was the first day we met
In the year of nineteen ninety four…
My daddy
We drove to the mountains
Fishing and swimming I went with…
My daddy
He tried to take me skiing in the cold winter
Snow swore he'd never again…
My daddy
The day I saw him cries,
I pray my grandpa looking down on...
My daddy
The day he got sick, Graves’ disease
Long hard road, but better now is…
My daddy
The time we left into a RV
For three years all because...
My daddy
The adventure across the states was
Brought to an end the time my mommy left…
My daddy
It’s not over yet she took him back
His ways not completely changed…
My daddy
The years get harder
The time goes slower
Life gets quieter
Unless he's talking…
My daddy
Too long it went on
Always with us but never there…
My daddy
Our roads have ended, God had
Different for us and…
My daddy
We have gone our separate ways
And my life has been
Without for months…
My daddy
Now life is different, but still
We all love and miss…
My daddy
But even if we had him back,
He’d be different than…
My daddy

I wrote this in my english class what inspired me was my dads and my past and present relationship, as in the poem it goes through some big moments and some little memorable moments.
